This past week we had a great time! We read the book "A Tale of Two Princes" by Eckart Zur Nieden. A wonderful tale about an island led astray by a dark prince who causes chaos on the island and ultimately leads the people into a cave. When the people begin to lose hope another prince comes, battles and defeats the dark prince, bringing the people back into the light! We compared and contrasted this story with the Gospel.
We also designed our own Celtic crosses (check them out in the education hall) and played crab soccer!

Fun at COG
The kids at COG continue to love Thursday evenings!
We meet from 3:30 to 5:30 every Thursday after school; playing games, doing 'artsy stuff,' running wild(!), learning Bible stories, and most of all learning what it means to be a Child of God.

COG Begins Thursday, June 17
C.O.G. - Children of God begins on Thursday, June 17th from 6-7:30 p.m.! Hosted by Poke Run Presbyterian Church, COG is a youth group for kids in 4th- 6th grade. This awesome group is all about playing games, fun activities, and most of all - learning about God's amazing plan for our lives! Invite your friends and get ready to have an awesome time!
